The food was delicious. But we were there almost 3 hours. The service was immensely slow. I’ve eaten here so many times in the past and feel the standard has slipped. We used to be greeted at the door with a smile. It felt manic. The front door host was telling everyone the restaurant was so busy. When we were seated (15 mins late) the restaurant was no where near full. It took ages for our drinks to arrive. They didn’t have what was offered with the voucher available so we ordered an alternative and it was wrong when it came to the table. So we waited again for another drink. The food was lovely but not that warm. It appeared to sit on the ‘pass’ as the kitchen for AGES before being brought to the table. We then felt rushed near the end as the bar was closing (at 10pm?).

Food was very disappointing. I was served cold shop bought pancakes, not the buttermilk pancakes I was expecting. Staff member advised they are shop bought.

I would strongly recommend the Chaophraya Thai restaurant to anyone who would welcome an eating experience of such quality. I have a disability and the staff were very helpful as.
We will be going back soon.
