Bought the £45 voucher which gave us £75 food and drink. Cocktails were lovely and food well presented and cooked nicely. Staff friendly. Table not cleared before arrival and seated by kitchen which are the only negative points. Overall very good value for money and a pleasant experience.

The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and informative. We were pleasantly surprised. So much so that we have booked to go back. We had mussels to share and they were the best we’ve had. The crisp duck fell off the bone. My partner had haggis, beeps & tatties and I dislike haggis but I tasters his and I would order this as it was so nice. We shared a deep fried mars Bar and it was much better than the one I used to get from the chip shop as a teen.

I only recently saw Hot Toddy existed as I hadn’t been down this part of town for a long time, but as soon as I did I was excited to go. I fell in love with hot drinks from the bar, first in Spain then in Cork last year as a necessary delight at New Year, so was excited to test out Hot Toddy’s promise along with some delicious food. I was not let down on either front, except for my initial disappointment that a hot port wasn’t on the menu. But no problem, one, then another was served up swiftly and was a joyful accompaniment to our unbelievably tasty haggis and neeps, our cod and the fabulous blue cheese containing croquettes. I’m coming back on Thursday! I love everything about Hot Toddy - it is my new favourite place to be.
