Friendly staff greeted us when we entered, they explained the menu and gave us time to decide what we wanted to eat. We both went for pasta as our main course and it was a large portion. The dessert was amazing. A lovely night, I had taken my friend out to celebrate for her birthday and it was a good night.

Yes, booked last minute and wasn't an issue. Could do with more front of house staff...

We had a lovely evening here, we took a bottle of wine as they are currently BYOB, awaiting licence for drinks, and has the January menu. Every dish was different and tasty, we had one of each and shared. Looking forward to coming back to try another months menu soon!

What a place .
First of all the place is so cold you could see your breath in it .
The food was nice but could be improved
I got the mussels with no bowl to keep the eaten mussels and no wipe for my hands .
They gave you your main sides with the starter ? .
The bread was solid
Then they asked if it was itison deal and the difference in the size of my fish to the table next to me was ridiculous because we had a voucher .
And the tiramisu was just double cream whipped with a bit of hard sponge .
My wife on the other hand had a nice smoked salmon starter and nice pasta can’t complain with that .
Would go again but defo needs to tweek a few opening problems

Excellent cod small plate main. Beautifully cooked and lovely smoky flavour. Pasta main was average
Broccoli side and sauce were nice but better to be served with main than with starter.
Starter of potato skins was one half of a small potato with some hot smoked salmon served on a wooden board with stones which made it tricky to eat at the salmon fell between the stones - average at best. Mussels ‘soup’ was fine but better if served with a spoon than fork to enjoy the broth or perhaps a slice of bread to mop up broth.
Tiramasu flavour was nice but was more like a bowl of double cream under some sponge and good chocolate powder.
It was a cold day but the restaurant was freezing. Hard to enjoy the meal in the cold and food seemed to get cold very quickly. Wait staff realised and commented but nothing they could do as the heater didn’t reach our side of restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the old fish bar what a great find!
The staff were attentive and gave a lovely and thorough intro to the restaurant and concept. We loved our food and look forward to returning!
