Food lovely. Lacked ambience.

No atmosphere in conservatory area.
Confusion over menus: felt we were treated like second class citizens because of Itison voucher.
Very poor and slow service. Refused to pay the service charge added to bill.
Food was ok, but nothing exceptional

Nice welcome on arrival and the main restaurant is lovely. We were seated at back though kind of like a conservatory so it was very bright lacked atmosphere and it was cold. The glass of wine that was part of the deal was very very small. £3 supplement for the king prawns that were nice but not king prawns and there were 5 of them. Also a £3 supplement for the sea bass. The veg risotto was nice but very salty. The menu that was left on the table was a sheet of A4 paper with no descriptions of what each dish was. By the time I paid supplements, a glass of wine each and the 10% service charge thus deal was actually more expensive that if we had just ordered if thier set menu. Food was nice but not enough of a great experience to be rushing back.

Had a very pleasant lunch at Osteria with friend. Service was friendly and dishes were tasty plus portions were ample. Would return to Osteria.

Normally love Osteria I've had an Itison voucher in the past and the food was delicious, not this time.
Mozzarella sticks not fully cooked. Have veggie pizza, sliced of aubergine were saturated in oil. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. Food was diappointing.
