We had a very lovely and delicious afternoon tea celebration yesterday at Norwood Hall. I had asked to be seated in the Library which I was told couldn’t be guaranteed but requested. I was very pleased on arrival that this was possible. My only gripe would be that when I asked to have the Prosecco first I was told that the tea order would be taken and then it all arrived at the same time. Also, once we had all the food and drinks no one came back to ask if we needed more tea or if at the end of the event if we would like a box to take the uneaten cakes home. I had to go and find someone. However, the whole experience and get together of friends was very enjoyable.

Definitely wasn’t as good as previous time about a year ago, presume with rising prices etc they have cut back. Glad it was a itison voucher and I didn’t pay full price. Won’t be rushing back, hotel in general is looking tired and tatty, chair fabric was ripped. The man that served us was very nice and checked everything was ok.

Well done the experience of afternoon tea was very good. Efficient, friendly, warm and cosy setting with the log fire and the food was excellent. We will be back.

The staff were polite, friendly, attentive and efficient. The afternoon tea was lovely, delicious sandwiches, best scones we've ever tasted and a selection of gorgeous wee cakes. We were offered more tea. There was no rush to leave either.

We were in the library which was ok but tables very small not enough room to set up everything.
Atmosphere didn't feel good no fire on to make it more inviting
