Super friendly staff and accommodating staff. Afternoon tea was lovely and the pastry chef has to be commended. David, Concierge, was a delight, super proud of his job and extremely knowledgeable and helpful too.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the food that was consumed .Early mothers day present which she loved but we didn't enjoy the bar area situated at the top of an open stair. They've missed a trick not having the bar at the end of the garden which if opened up would have given great views of Fife.

Booked afternoon tea with a bottle of champagne ( special occasion) but there was no champagne at all in the whole building ( apparently). We were very disappointed.
We were offered 2 bottles of sparkling wine instead however I said I’d be under the table if we drank that and asked for one bottle then 2 x g n t’s - which came with no garnish at all ( small point I guess).
Staff were lovely though and the afternoon tea was delicious however left with a bad taste in our mouths and took the shine off our experience.

Quiet luxury at a brilliant price point! The Glasshouse certainly delivered from the Concierge who showed us to The Snug to the young waiter who served us and made everything perfect! Thank you for making a the moment memorable.

Food was lovely but staff weren’t very attentive. No one came near us and we had to call them over to ask for things. Area where we were sitting was quite cold too.

Booking process is unacceptable along with customer service. Didnt have my booking, then made my booking, then tried to cancel it. Many ohobecalls and arguments later i got my original booking time and date.
Put in a cold area to sit, had to send coffee back, cakes as part of the afternoon not edible, tried to charge £5 service charge to order a bottle of wine

The bread used for the sandwiches was starting to go hard at the edges, and wasn’t as soft and fresh as we’d hoped. They were nice though, as were the cakes. The accompanying tea wasn’t hot enough and had to be returned and remade. The scones were a disappointment as they just broke into pieces when we tried to cut them in half. You can’t butter crumbs. The couple sitting behind us had issues with their afternoon tea. Overall, don’t think we!d do it again. Loved the hotel though and would perhaps go back for coffee/cake instead. Shame, thought it would have been better than it was.
