Had a lovely relaxing day at Ardoe House.
A very warm welcome on check in. Was given a towel, robe and slippers. Went for a swim and used the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Very comfortable area in spa with sofas and chairs so sat and had a coffee and read my book before going through for massage. Massage treatment from Jamie was absolutely wonderful. I'll definitely be back soon.

We booked this as an anniversary treat for us both. Booking through the spa was made very easy. On the day we turned up, the afternoon tea was a completely different menu to the one we expected. I was only able to eat one of the sandwiches. They changed the delicious sounding savouries from onion bhaji and steak pie, to a soggy mushroom pakora and green quiche. The scones were excellent, they really were. And the little cakes were all different from what was stated on the itison page. As it was served we were advised the menu was new.. I am aware that items are subject to changes, however the majority of the items on the stand were completely different with ingredients with acquired taste (prawns, cherry, mushroom etc) we wish we had been told about this change of menu before booking. Our server was a really pleasant man, and we have nothing but good things to say about him as he was attentive and topped up our coffee, gave us water etc.
The spa treatments were incredible! So relaxing! I would come back for these alone.
After the spa we were given robes to wear. Once we got to the changing area, there were so many children in for a swimming lesson. The pool was very busy. The changing room floors very wet that when I tried to walk in the slippers I was given I slipped and almost fell. I don't see the point in the robes/slippers, as I had to keep it in my locker until I came back to get changed. No relaxation area? Very odd for a spa. We ended up just going into the sauna for ten minutes and then leaving as it was not a relaxing environment. I get that kids will have access to the pool, but again we could have been advised on booking that our time slot would mean we would be sharing the pool area with many small children learning to swim.
I'd visit again, but only for a relaxing treatment from your wonderful team of therapists.

Treatments were lovely, one dealt with professionally, the other not so much. Organisation poor, we could have used spa before afternoon tea which was in a location that required a short walk outside so would have to get fully dressed rather than staying in dressing gown. Not very relaxing so we decided against spa, they had no dressing gowns available anyway. Afternoon tea was poor quality stale sandwiches and cakes, lovely staff.

Loved it
Staff great both at the leisure centre and at the restaurant

The SPA staff were friendly. The leisure centre is looking tired around the pool and shower area. Doesn’t detract from the great service provided by the spa experience.

Enjoyed a lovely swim before a fantastic spa treatment and superb afternoon tea.
Spa therapist Jolene was 5 star; courteous and very knowledgable in her field of work. The massage and facial I received was undoubtably the best I have experienced.
Afternoon tea in hotel was delightful, served in a beautiful drawing room by friendly attentive staff.
