Thoroughly enjoyed the potting shed and would go back.

Lovely venue, great vibe. Staff were pleasant & attentive. Lovely glass of Prosecco to start. Filter coffee was cold by the time the food arrived. Sandwiches were lovely however only 6 small fingers between 2. Cakes tasted like they were shop bought so overall we were disappointed. I would return to the Potting Shed however, not for Afternoon Tea, it wasn’t worth the money.

Sadly we were disappointed in our afternoon tea. The sandwich bread was stale, these were replaced when we mentioned this to staff. Unfortunately these were still not fresh bread or had been sitting out. The cake selection was poor, they were a bit similar as they were a variety of cheese cakes. Would have preferred a selection of cakes and tray bakes.
The staff were excellent, replaced the sandwiches and very attentive.
Have been before for lunch but would definitely never get an afternoon tea again!

Staff were really attentive. Bit dark inside as lighting was turned down. Afternoon tea was fine.

I bought 2 itison deals as Si" is local to my area.
The 1st afternoon tea voucher I used a few Saturdays ago. The service then was a bit slow but the afternoon tea spread was a good standard and plentiful. It was a lovely afternoon.
I booked this afternoon tea ten days ago and looked forward to meeting up with a different friend.
Same time as last, 2pm
We had a smaller table but it was alright.
We sat chatting and 20 min later the server apologised for not attending to us sooner.
She asked about drinks and what selection of fillings we'd like. Like before it was either wraps or sandwiches of brown or white bread. You couldn't have both , something about the kitchen being busy. (Like last time)
We opted for the wraps. They were really nice.
The drinks took another 10 mins + , to arrive.
That was after 230.
As soon as the afternoon tea arrived another 5mins or so I got my phone out. I was about to take a photo and then looked again at the spread.
The cakes were tiny, 5 in total, for the 2 of us !!
I looked back at the photo from 2 weeks ago, there was an abundance of food. There was no comparison
I had to say to the girl.
I showed a server the afternoon tea I'd had a fortnight ago. It was like day and night.
Yes there was 1 mince pie each, mini quiche each , little sausages and Christmas pudding truffle, 2 scones and a selection of cakes.
I did realise that was probably a Christmas afternoon tea but hey 5 tiny cakes, 2 scones and wraps.
The restaurant did address it and more mini cakes came on a saucer. Shouldn't need to say. it wasn't good enough.
So that was that sorted. Then the scones yesterday were stale! I didn't want to complain again so didn't.
It was nice catching up with my friend but definitely won't buy again. Will dine out elsewhere in further
....Pretty disappointed.
