I enjoyed a lovely three night stay at Cedar Court in what is a beautiful historical building. The ground level public areas and rooms have been upgraded to a good standard and the Ambers restaurant is beautiful. Some elements are still in need of TLC - such as the slightly worn bathrooms and retro brick-walled hallways, plus the sound proofing between rooms was almost non existent. But overall, staff were lovely, the restaurant food was tasty (albeit priced quite highly) and the location was perfect at only 10 or so mins walk from the centre.
