Starting with the good points the burgers and fries were amazing, the staff serving me were very friendly, the restaurant is nicely laid out, but the service was very slow as it seemed some of the staff were new, it would have been an excellent meal if not for this, the manager was unhappy with the slow service and told the staff to speed up loudly while clapping his hands, which I though was very unprofessional as all staff interactions should be conducted in private, he also went to every table apart from ours to apologised for the delay and offered free sweets to the ladies on the table next to ours, but did not approach us at any time. We arrived ten minutes early and waited 45 minutes for our food, the aforementioned table next to ours were actually served, had eaten, and left before we were served, they declined the free sweets and the manager then returned to their table and gave them a discount on their bill for the delay, whilst still ignoring our table, on paying the bill there was a 12 percent service charge added to the bill without any mention of this either on the menu or by the staff, which did not happen the first time we dined there but as I was going to leave a tip anyway I did not complain about this, but on leaving when I asked the server at the till to upload my loyalty stamp, he asked the manager, who was now sitting down by the bar, how to do this, the manager once again ignored us and told him to tell us the system was not working to upload the stamp, without any acknowledgment of us or apology for the supposed failure of the system. On leaving the restaurant I almost turned back to ask the manager what his problem with us was as he definitely completely ignored us for the whole meal but decided against it as so was rushing to the cinema to catch a film, whilst the food was amazing and the staff were excellent we left feeling unhappy and felt like we had been treated as second class customers as we have dined there before when this manager was not there without this ignorant treatment, I can only assume one of two things either the treatment was due to paying with itison vouchers this time, or the Manager had some sort of problem with us, either way I will probably not dine there again
