We loved our afternoon tea. The service was great with the staff being friendly and attentive without being all over us. Great to have an unusual variety of teas with the normal options. Lovely venue with a good amount of space between each of the guests. The only negative is Cameron House is massive so trying to find the right entrance/location of the Lobby Bar wasn't obvious.

I went to Cameron house for my mother’s 70th birthday. I booked it 6 weeks in advance and told them about the dietary requirements of the group. One of them being vegan with a sesame allergy. Another was vegetarian. I called the day before the booking as well to ensure they had the appropriate dietary requirements noted. The day of the tea they started speaking about someone in the group having a preference for turkey sandwiches which actually no one ate meat. Then when they brought out the food one of the sandwiches was hummus, which contains sesame. I asked them to double check and it did in fact have sesame. They were very lovely and apologetic but in any event , this could have ended badly.
The scones that came out were gorgeous but there was no acknowledgement of the vegan option so I assume the scone provided was not vegan. I didn’t care about this as much because it wasn’t life threatening, but I would expect a 5 star establishment to get that right.
I absolutely love the Cameron house and their staff are incredible and welcoming. I will definitely still go back but I am wary now.
