Firstly the staff, all the staff, are first class and made us feel very welcome, they even spoilt the dog. Hotel is in a great position, central to most of Northumberland. Very comfortable with some rooms having a great view of the gardens and the Roman Bridge. Room warm and comfortable. Food was great but the extremely generous portions made hotel living awkward. One or two lighter options on the menu would be great. This isn’t a complaint but you gave us too much food!!!!
