It was a fantastic stay and the whole place and staff looked after us brilliantly.

Hard to improve although we did ask the chef if we could have more Scottish fare on the menu and he happily obliged. Everyone was so friendly and wanted us to enjoy ourselves.

Beautiful hotel in stunning setting. Warm welcome from staff and shown to lovely large room with excellent views. The evening meal was excellent, very tasty and inspiring.
Couple of comments for feedback: Our amuse bouche and starter both arrived before our wine did, we like to enjoy our wine with the food. In the evening while getting ready for dinner the hot water was only Luke warm and it required 3 kettles to get the bath hot enough. Water was good and hot in the morning though. Sadly after dinner, the fire in the lounge had gone out and no one tried to relight it, it was a little chilly at only 9.30pm.
Despite these comments I would still definitely return and stay again. Food really was very good and it felt like a proper country house hotel, overall a very comfortable stay.
